Sobre el calendario 2021, lo estoy terminando… quería que tuviera una estética un poco más novedosa… y a pesar de que amo el negro, quería ocupar un color que hiciera que el calendario se sintiera más acogedor 😛 así que la imagen de arriba fue hecha cuando estaba en plena búsqueda y da una pista de cómo se va a ver. Espero que te guste 💙
Escuché a la artista Ekaterina Popova, que lleva un buen tiempo pintando principalmente interiores de casas que están un poco desordenadas y no tan iluminadas, hablar sobre la razón de su popularidad. Decía que en redes sociales y otros medios veíamos tanta perfección que imágenes que se vieran más cotidianas, llamaban la atención por ser distintas al modelo típico y, además, porque muchos las sentían más auténticas.

About the 2021 calendar, I’m finishing it … I wanted it to have a slightly newer aesthetic … and even though I love black, I wanted to use a color that would make the calendar feel more welcoming 😛 so the image above was done when I was searching for the right aesthetic and it actually gives a hint of how it will look. I hope you like it 💙
I heard artist Ekaterina Popova, who has been painting mostly house interiors that are a bit messy and not that illuminated for a long time, talk about the reason for her popularity. She said that in social networks and other media we see so much perfection that images that were seen more day-to-day, attracted attention because they were different from the typical model and, also, because many felt them more authentic.
